Getting There
There is 4.39 miles of gravel road after turning onto Trout Creek Butte Road from 242. The gravel road does have washboard sections. It is not as bad as the road to Graham Corral horse camp and it is much worse than the road to Sisters Cow Camp.
Must Brings
1) Water, horse and human
2) Gaia with maps downloaded. There are lots of forest roads that are largely unlabeled.
3) Air tag for your horse. There is cell service here so make sure you can track your horse.

Horse Campsites
The campsites are really nice! I like the corrals arranged in a line. It means if you have a bossy mare, she could be at the end and only have 1 neighbor. Site 3 is the only pull-through.

Riding
TBD
I visited Whispering Pines while camping at Cow Camp. I can't wait to go back and ride the trails specific to Whispering Pines.

Rating
Site 3 is a pull-through and has a nice campsite layout with the picnic table to the right of the trailer parking and in close proximity to the horse corrals.
